Fancy a go at some REAL EXTREME FISHING???

One of the most popular aspects of a week staying with us at GFN is a day on deepwater.

For us we’re talking water over 100m deep. Even our shallower marks can be 15-50m deep. And we’ve recently mastered a new area which was initially beyond even our scope, and this water is over 350m deep or 1150 feet in old money.

Actually fishing this type of mark puts you back in the mindset of fishing as a young child. You picture your bait being taken by unseen monsters, battling on the edge with something as big as you are. 

   And when your rod bends over and line starts peeling from your reel you really feel the adrenaline kicking in.

 You hear your guide calmly telling you what’s going to happen next, whilst all your friends are shouting and laughing at your expense. The peaceful mark has suddenly turned into a buzz of activity, and then it all goes quiet as you connect with this unseen monster from your childhood dreams and your rod buckles over and the long fight begins.
