Simon Newman and “That Halibut”. It went 44lb and if you ever meet Simon he’ll happily tell you all about the fight it gave him!!
Stu Andrews and a thoroughly well deserved cod that tipped the scales at 24lb 4oz. Caught under the Northern Lights it topped off a memorable week for Stu.
Stuart Corns and the halibut he set out to catch. Job done, well fished Stu!!
Tom Ascott and his European record Cod of 66lb 8oz, caught on his first visit to Guided Fishing Norway.
Paul Tipper and a cracking Halibut over 30lb, one of half a dozen Paul landed in his first week with us.

One of the guides Phill Hambrook with his European shore record Ling of 59lb 8oz, what a fish!! Caught in water 800 feet deep it took a while to land, but proved that with our specialist methods it is possible to fish these depths and land the monsters that lurk down there.
Wayne “Halibut” Hill and his huge 50lb Flatfish. Wayne’s no stranger to Halibut fishing but when they’re this size the really test your skills.
Tyrone and his 43lb Cod. His first ever double figured shore cod, caught on his first night with Guided Fishing Norway.
Another of our guides, John Strange with a 32lb Cod caught from over 500 foot of water. This fish took a while to land as it swam back to the bottom when it was 50 foot from the top!!
Lee Hover with a fine Halibut of 35lb. This fish bit through Lees 80lb hooklength as it was landed!
Steve Broster wanted a decent Cod, and here he is with one over 20lb, the smile says it all.
Wayne Hill again, this time with a European record shore Wolfish of 20lb 8oz. Wayne’s a big guy, over 6′ 5″ tall, so you can see the size of the Wolfie.
Lee again with a plaice of 6lb 12oz, Wow!!
